Granular FePt-L10 Media for PMR and MAMR

Objective: Fabricating granular FePt-L10media with controlled coercivity.
Feature: Low growth temperature to control ordering and microstructure.

This study aims at development of a FePt-L10perpendicular recording media for CPMR or MAMR applications. By controlling deposition temperature and selecting adequate grain boundary materials, we see the possibility of controlling coercivity, grain anisotropy field distribution, and inter-granular exchange coupling.
