Ultimate ADC Gain in TDMR with Machine Learning

Objective: Exploration of Ultimate TDMR ADC Gain with Employing Machine Learning.
Feature: Understand the potential of 1bit per grain ADC with ML data detection.

In this project, we are going to explore the potential for achieving 1 bit per grain type of areal recording density with machine learning based data detection channel. In particular, we will use multiple readers with read width significantly wider than the size of magnetic grain in the media. Correlation of detectability with number of readers and their cross-track displacement will be studied.
