Bio

Wenyi Zhang received a bachelor’s degree in physics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2019. She is currently a PhD student at the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department working under the supervision of Professor Jim Bain. Her current research focuses on thermal characterization for near-field transducer (NFT) heat sinking material and heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) light delivery system design and simulation.
