Bing Zhou

Bio

Bing Zhou is currently a PhD candidate advised by Professor David E. Laughlin and Professor Jimmy Zhu in the department of Materials Science and Engineering. He obtained his B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and the M.S. degree in Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). He is currently a student of the Data Storage Systems Center (DSSC) at CMU.

Research

Bing’s research interests are focused on the magnetic thin films and devices for magnetic recording media and spintronics.
