Tiancheng Zheng

PhD Student, Electrical and Computer Engineering

Bio

Tiancheng Zheng is currently a PhD student at the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department and also a member of DSSC. He received his bachelor's degree in physics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2023. His research interests are in the fields of quantum information and quantum computing, and he is also excited about working on new technologies during his PhD research.

Research

He is currently considering available projects based on nitrogen-vacancy (NV) color center in diamond. The NV color center in diamond is an atom-like system in the solid-state which integrated nuclear spin properties can be efficiently used in quantum communications.
