HAMR Media: How to Grow Tall FePt-L10 Grains

Objective: Develop HAMR Media w/ Tall FePt-L10 Grains
Feature: Fabrication of HAMR media using sputtering technique and TEM analysis

Investigation of various grain boundary materials and various combination of grain boundary materials. Establish understanding of the correlation between processing conditions and microstructure. TEM analysis, XRD measurements, and magnetic characterization are performed.
