2021 DSSC Fall Technical Review

DSSC Review Structure
With the current COVID situation in Pittsburgh and elsewhere, we have decided to hold the Fall DSSC Technical Review online with a 2-hour Zoom session. To best accommodate our sponsor’s varied time zones, we plan to hold same review twice on two different dates:
Wednesday, 11/17/21: 1-3PM EST (10-12PM PST) (convenient for US-based sponsors)
Thursday, 12/02/21: 8-10PM EST (Friday 12/03/21 10AM-12PM JST) (convenient for Asia-based sponsors)
The session includes an overview and highlights of all on-going DSSC research projects and five featured talks by graduate and undergraduate students. Three of these students’ talks will be on future HDD technologies and the other two on technology reviews of the Intel Optane (3D xPoint) SSD and E-MRAM and their commercial opportunities.
After the review, we will follow up with sponsors individually to provide additional review session(s) of specific research project(s) of interests.
