Special model Janis ST-100 continuous flow optical cryostat system with sample in vacuum allows the electrical and thermal characterization of the thin film and devices at temperature range 4~475K. The system includes two LCC socket mounted on the cold finger for quick sample loading. Each socket fit a standard 68pin LCC chip carrier where the sample is mounted and wirebonded. Special designed vacuum shroud allow the cryostat to be put into the Lakeshore VSM to perform field depended measurement. A high NA microscope lens is internally integrated to cryostat, with a x-y-z manipulator for microscope focusing and sample movement, making it suitable for high resolution optical thermometry.
